On Dec. 29, patrol was dispatched to a report of a fight between four males on East Fairmount Avenue. Subsequent investigation led to the arrest of Immanuel Q. Lee of Hasbrouck Heights on charges of possessing an amount of marijuana considered to be possessing with intent to distribute.

On Jan. 2, Officer Mulawka conducted a motor vehicle stop on Poplar Avenue by West Passaic Street. A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the driver, Michael A. Nobre of Fair Lawn, and the passenger, Lauren A. Lawlor of Fair Lawn, on charges of possession of marijuana.

Warrant

On Dec. 31, Officer Mulawka was checking a suspicious person, Nicholas A. Roseburgh of Maywood, at the intersection of East Spring Valley and Coles streets. He was arrested for active warrants for his arrest from the Ridgefield Park, Clark, Tinton Falls and Sicklerville municipal courts. He was turned over to the Ridgefield Park Police Department.

On Dec. 31, Officer Mulawka conducted a motor vehicle stop that led to the arrest of the driver, Efrain Torres of Paterson, for active warrants for his arrest from the Clifton Municipal Court. He also had active warrants from the Totowa, Paramus, Paterson, Ridgefield and Little Falls municipal courts. He was turned over to the Clifton Police Department.

Burglary

On Jan. 1, a Ward Street residence was burglarized between 4:30 and 7 p.m. If any residents in that area saw anything suspicious in that time frame, they are asked to contact the Maywood Police Department's Detective Bureau.
